of success as a graduate student. The people submitting reference letters on your behalf may send
their letters to the department to which you’re applying either electronically or via mail.
Please list only the first and last names for your recommenders. No additional characters or
credentials should be listed.
Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, students who are admitted and who matriculate into the program to which they apply are given the right to inspect their records, including their letters of recommendation, unless they have waived their right of review.
